Supreme Court upholds clean chit to Union govt on Rafale deal

Glad all types of conspiracy theories tried to tarnish the image of Ruling Government in Rafale deal was thrown out of the window by Supreme Court

Thank you Supreme Court.... Of course now the world may know who are the liars....the new avatars of Joseph Goebbels....LOL

So.....no hope in Supreme Court as all review petitions were dismissed on the ground that they were without merit.

Big slap on the face of Modi bashers......LOL

It is reported that Rahul Gandhi was let off with warning in Rafale contempt case.

The Supreme Court noted that the review petitions "lacked merit".

The Supreme Court on Thursday upheld the clean chit to the Union government in the controversial Rafale case, and dismissed the review petitions filed by former Union Ministers Yashwant Sinha, Arun Shourie, and lawyer Prashanth Bhushan as they "lacked merit".

The case has taken several turns, especially over the last few months. Here is an explainer on the controversial Rafale deal and why the Supreme Court decided to hear the review petition despite giving the Central government a clean chit in 2018.
