Srardha Thithi needed. please help

Hi, my mom passed away on dec 13. 2021 on Shukla Dhasami thithi (thithi before Vaikunda Ekadashi). Drik panchang says the srardha thithi for 2023 is Dec 21. but my aunt is saying that the thithi is incorrect. Can someone please guide me on when I should do the srardham this year?

Dec 21st is correct. In panjangam you have to see shrardha thithi.

December 13, 2021 is karthikai month.. every year you have to see karthikai month sukla paksham dasami thithi. now this year karthikai month sukla paksha dasami thithi falls on 22-11-2023. the day before uththana or kaisika ekadasi.

Since you are referring drik panjangam hope you must be Brahmin but not of Tamil if so, drik panjangam is correct. Otherwise if Tamil means you have to follow the karthigai month.
