Sir,
In orderto prevent severe head injuries during road accidents and to ensure safety of both two wheelerrider and pillion rider, Government of Tamil Nadu vide G.O.Ms.No.292, Home(Tr.V) Department, dated: 22.02.2007 passed necessary orders making it compulsoryfor wearing helmets in Tamil Nadu.
Effectiveimplementation rests with the Transport and Police Departments and co-operationof the general public which requiresmore awareness.
