Somy Ali defends Sara Ali Khan's Kedarnath visit, hits back at trolls for their 'uneducated mindset'

Active member
ara Ali Khan recently visited the Kedarnath temple in Uttarakhand with Janhvi Kapoor. This gave a chance to some social media users to troll her on religious grounds. Now, in an exclusive conversation with IndiaToday.in, Somy Ali has reacted to the trolls and said that it displays their uneducated mindset.

Sara Ali Khan had a great time visiting temples with Janhvi Kapoor during their Kedarnath trip. However, trolls attacked her and questioned her on the basis of her religion. Now, Somy Ali has reacted to the trolling and said that ignoring those people is the best route.

She said, “No educated or intellectual individual would make such ignorant comments. If anything, it is commendable for Sara to visit the temple. In 2021 to comment on who belongs to which religion is laughable and displays the uneducated mindset of the people making these comments. We are all human beings. Humanity takes precedence over religion. Additionally, she has the right and freedom to go wherever she wants. I would go to temples and Haji Ali all the time. Again, the garbage of the internet is speaking. Ignoring them is the best route.”

Aamir Ali has also come out in support of Sara Ali Khan. While speaking to IndiaToday.in, he said, "It is sad that she is getting trolled for a visit to a temple. I am sure that she has a special connection with Kedarnath, it must be a place where she finds sukoon (peace of mind). Unfortunately, if some anonymous haters want to link this to her religion, then it’s truly sad."
