My Temple Visits

There is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva who is believed to cure devotees of diabetes. Lord is called Karumbeshwarar ( Karumbu in Tamil means sugarcane) ! The Tempke is situated in a peaceful little village called ‘ Kovil Venni’ near Needamangalam town on Tiruvarur to Thanjavur road. When Lord Shiva is given palabhishekam ( milk bath) , devotees can see sugarcane like stripes on the Shivling. Many devotees visit this temple for getting cure from diabetes. I visited this temple on July 30, 2022 and had great darshan of the Lord .
