shaving and hair cutting during wife pregnancy

Dear all,

According to our brahmin rituals, may i know from which month an husband should not shave his beard and cut his hair during his wife's pregnancy period for the safe birth of the child.

In Dharma Sasthra It is stated like from " when there is a confirmation of pregnancy and the pregnancy symptoms are fully visible." In olden days it is like from the start of 4th month for the first pregnancy. after that the deeksha is from seemandham .
