It gives me immense pleasure and joy to have become a member of our Association today.
I am in Nigeria at present working as GM with Dangote Group - Steel Division.
I hail from Tiruchengode, Namakkal District. I graduated in Electrical Engg from REC, Trichy in 1978.
After 20 years of service in PSUs (EPI / Vizag Steel), I came to Nigeria in 1999.
Our ancestral house was grabbed by an AIADMK activist and we were unceremoniously thrown-out in 1992.
Everyone in the town was spell bound and our own Brahmin community was too afraid to speak-up even though
my father was a lawyer and President of the Brahmin Association. My parents lived with me in Vizag for 5 years and later, moved to Chennai in 1997.
In my quest to know more about the plights of Brahmins, their past history and glory, I came across this site and instantly
applied for the membership. I now feel a sense of pride and belonging.
