This Imam is very famous and is an Australian citizen ....He is Shia of Iranian descend so he tends to hit out at Sunnis...If Pakistan was a Shia majority I think he would have been singing a different tune!oh!! is it? sorry. error owing to the dependence on fwds
There may be conflict between Shias and Sunnis but will an average Shia muslim support hindu pagans over Sunni muslim? After all, muslims are known for strong unity among themselves. That is atleast the existing world view.
So just because one may find this imam's opinion unpalatable, is it correct to dismiss his opinion like that?
This is not only a slap on Pakistan's face. This is slap on the face of so-called liberals and seculars who claimed to be pained when the "minorities sensibilities" are offended. It is far easier to indulge in Modi bashing. No dearth of hypocrites at all. The Prime Minister has shown great courage whether it be demonetization or the abrogation of Article 370 and 35A. The overwhelming support of the minorities in UP in the recently concluded General Elections is evident of the fact that they want the present Government to continue. Pakistan is a banana Republic and while Donald Trump has the habit of putting his foot in the mouth, it is unlikely that he will precipitate action which may run the risk of condemnation by the international community.
