After my mother passed away we did the daily rites followed by Dhanam etc on sapandikaranam day . Think it was 12th day. Since then we have done monthly sodakumbham and masigam and I am told we have to again do sapandikaranam on the final masigam day including Dhanam of Pavithra mothiram, dharjani mothiram, Pancha pathram umbrella fan etc. While I am not particularly bothered about the cost I just want to know if this is right or Iam being misled. Grateful to the knowledgeable people for their guidance
