Hi everyone

I am expecting my first kid soon and would like to know what are the typical functions that need to be conducted immediately after child birth. Heard of 7th day kaappu kettu, 11th day jaathakarma and naamakarma.. What are the days for cradle and aranjaanam kettu...Are these on 28th day? Pls reply urgently

It all depends upon your subsect andv other few factors.For vadamal smartha vadamals 1oth day will be punyagavachanam and naming the baby. All others are after one year completion.
