Why rama has become mascot of hinduism . It clearly stated that rama is avatar of krishna. And his other nine avatar bring more equility and stability and justice to the world than rama who fought for his self interest . Instead of praising krishna for bhagavad gita revelation most hindus praise ram who in my opinion who fought his interest.

Dear Suresh,

You call something selfish or self interest when it is done by unduly harming others. What Rama did was self duty and responsibility. He served as a model.

You should understand that Lord Vishnu took the avatar of Krishna with far greater capabilities than Rama. So what Rama accomplished is more an inspiration to humans. If Rama is a model Krishna is a super model who is the final destination for everyone. To reach that destination of Krishna one needs Rama.
