Can someone guide me on the following:

1. I have a joint pictures of Gods and godess in pooja ghar. eg Laxmi-Ganesh-Sarsavati, I recently got a small idol of Ganesha (silver). can i keep it in Pooja ghar along with the joint picture?

2. i recently purchased a small "right trunk Ganesh statue in panch loham (metal). Can i keep this in puja room. and is there special poojas that i have to do if I keep this in Pooja room.

All idols are between 2 inch and 2.5 inches

Dear Sir,

You can keep ganesh idol on your pooja room. firtst before keeping the idol on the pooja room do it on Fridays or chathurhi. start with performing bathing the idol and vastram, poonol. chandan kumkum on head, hands feet, thumbikai and do ganesh avahana mantra or astothram which ever convineent and a naivedyam.

I feel you can keep that .. do neivedhyam daily without fail. can do abishekams and full pooja on key days specific to gods you are worshipping.
