[h=3]Biyani expects the sales of Ramdev's Patanjali products to grow to Rs. 1000 crore by 2017. He believes that once the supply matches the demand he will earn a revenue of Rs.70-80 crore per month.[/h]Kishore Biyani (KB), CEO of Future Group, signed a partnership deal with Patanjali in Oct'15 which promises to sell all Patanjali products at Future Retail's Big Bazaar through out the country.
Kishore Biyani is already seeing Rs. 7-8 crore sales every single week, which counts for Rs. 30 crore sales a month. The demand, KB says, is even more than the supply of the products. The demand is mostly seen for products like ghee, toothpaste, noodles and personal care products.
The CEO expects the sales of Ramdev's Patanjali products to grow to Rs. 1000 crore by 2017. He believes that once the supply matches the demand he will earn a revenue of Rs.70-80 crore per month.
Biyani-led Future Group entered into a partnership on 9th October, with Baba Ramdev promoted Patanjali Ayurveda to sell Patanjali's FMCG products at Big Bazaar stores in the country. Biyani had shared his future plans and expectation during the signing that he expects the company to have the sales grow to Rs. 1000 crore in the next 20 months.
Kishore Biyani said, in October that even the HUL makes Rs,1300 - Rs. 1400 crore's business through Future Group's stores. Ramdev at the same time of partnership signing said with the launch of products like oats, muesli, pasta, juices he is expecting the turnover to grow to Rs.5000 crore for the current fiscal.
Biyani is also considering a plan to have production partnership with Patanjali.
