Hello all,
I'm looking to apply for OCI but am finding the usual runaround, only updated for the web.
I went to Travisa who I've used before and gotten competent service from, to be greeted with a Transition announcement informing me that after effective July 1st BLS would handle such things and providing a link to a FAQ page that does not exist.
Going to BLS I see a page telling me that after May 31st they'll no longer handle OCI.
The Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs meanwhile has great detail on the process of developing the law but nothing on how to actually use it.
Has anyone found any place that's currently responsible for processing OCI or do we need to just cool our heels until Parliament decides whether to merge, abolish or reframe OCI ?
thanks,
T.
