This murugan is called kolinjiappan- since this idol was found in the kolingi tree forest - idol is like a snake circumscribing sivan -
this temple is 3 kms from vriddachalam and 35 kms from ulundurpet on the chennai-trichy highway
temple is open from 8 am to 8pm. Here the temple office gives the devotee a sheet of paper in which he can
make a pradhu- meaning he can file a petition for the recovery of loan amount given not realised so far, recovery of landed property and matters like these for which we go legally. That is why he is called pradhu murugan - you have to remit a registration fees and the petition is taken for an archana of murugan then kurukkal will help you tie it in the tree within the temple premises and routines will be told by the kurukkal. After doing all these you pray well and comeout with a satisfaction lord kolinjiyappan will solve your problem
you go round the temple and leave satisfactorily unloaded your grievances
officials give time - 3 days, 30 days, 3 months or so depending upon the weight of the case.
Many many come there filing pradhu and few satisfactorily succeeded in their case doing archana it all depends upon your luck
visiting the temple is worth he troubles and you may be lucky too
try your luck - good restaurants are there in vriddachalam for lunch.
