mUkha sAram

mahAperiyava selected some 31 slokas from 500 sloka mUka panchasati as mUka sAram that captures its sAram or essence. kAmAkSi is described as underlying kriyA shakti in the first 10, jnAna shakti in next 10 & ichchA shakti in the next 10. 31st sloka offers salutations to all three.

In the first 10 stanzas of mUkha sAram, kAmAkSi is described as kAraNi of pasu-pati, the lord of all beings. She in spite of being excitation form holds steady the Universe. She is inside, imperceptible, arises from ekAtma, moves out as the root of prakRti, as underlying energy excitation in non-living, thought form in all living, in the consciousness inside all hearts, creating crores of worlds, the guru of all, as she symbolizes the vedanta sAram of ekAtmA. She divides, unites, makes all forms, minds. She can destroy, create eternally, underlying all mAyA as kriyA sakthi.

If one meditates on her feet, realize ekAtma jnAnA, they are complete, become immortal, realizing the futility of death.

Tripura-Sundari is the vacuum energy that beautifies the space or the consciousness that beautifies the mind. kAmAkSi is underlying excitation aspect of tripura-sundari (other being mInAksi and vizAlAkSi).

mUkha sAram 1 to 10 translation sung in tamil, essence in english with mahaperiyava discourses..
