Kharagpur - longest railway platform in the world
Sarnath - station design elements based on the famous Sanchi Stupa
Bhawani Mandi Railway station
The division of this station and its periphery between the two states (MP, Rajasthan) is nearly 50-50. The Entrance and Waiting Room are in Rajasthan, while booking windows in Madhya Pradesh.

Madras Egmore:
A former British military fort was converted to a Railway Terminus for the erstwhile South Indian Railways (Note: Madras Central/Royapuram belonged to the erstwhile Madras and Southern Mahratta Railways). A beautiful piece of Indo-Sarcenic architecture, this was one of the only 2 stations(the other being Howrah) where you could drive your car up the the platform and board the train directly from there.
Another interesting fact about Egmore is that, this used to be the only Terminus for metre gauge electric locomotives (YAM1) imported from Japan
Siliguri Junction:
The only station in India that until recently had all the three gauges, Broad Gauge, Metre Gauge and Narrow Gauge(2 ft)
Cuttack Railway Station
Recently renovated in the shape of the historic Barabati fort, a 14th century fort built during the rule of the Eastern Ganga dynasty in the Kalinga region.
2. Dhanushkodi Railway Station
Located at the southern tip of Rameswaram, at the eastern coast of the Tamil Nadu, a few nautical miles from mainland India, the town of Dhanushkodi was submerged during the 1964 cyclones. The picture above shows the remains of the station building which is now part of the Dhanushkodi
