There are groups, parties, sections, who are paid to create fake news, funny memes, sarcastic comments, etc etc. It happens everyday and we do come across such news by most of the medias.

Let the groups that are triggered to tarnish the image of the ruling party do their best.

Truth will ultimately prevail

India’s fake news epidemic is killing people, and Modi’s government has no plan to stop it

NEW DELHI — Sukanta Chakraborty was hired in June by the Information and Culture department of the Indian state of Tripura to teach Indians how to spot fake news on apps like WhatsApp. He was dead before July.

With a loudspeaker in hand, the 33-year-old travelled from village to village in the north eastern Indian state of Tripura state in his new job as a “rumor buster,” trying to warn people against the dangers of believing the salacious rumors about child abductors, organ thieves, or cow killers that they were reading on their cell phones.

"Don't believe in fake news about child abductions. Don't take law into your own hands," Chakraborty shouted, as he travelled from village to village.

One recent fake news rumor Chakraborty was hired to debunk included a video claiming to show a gang of men kidnapping children in order to harvest their organs and that residents needed to be on the lookout for strangers in their neighborhood. The video turned out to be an edited version of a Pakistani child safety video.

But villagers were on edge after the brutal murder of an 11-year-old boy in the western part of the state, and willing to believe whatever they read.

One of the sterling achievements of Modi Ji of course overlooked by Anti-Modi brigades of this Forum

How PM Modi choked foreign funding of NGOs that indulged in compromising national interest

One of the sterling achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that does not receive adequate appreciation even from his supporters is the remarkable crackdown on foreign-funded NGOs by the NDA government. t/
karmam karmam. These NGOs historically have been doing yeoman work in helping the poor and downtrodden, the sick and abandoned. All the govt schems are bogus schemes.

now there is no one to help these poor. not to mention the entire economy has gone down due to demo and gst pushing 100s of millions below the poverty line.

most disastrous and anti poor govt ever !!!

kutti cheveru govt !!

Almost all political parties that have role at Centre follow the footsteps of Congress
which ruled entire India at some point of time. BJP is no exception. It is 'B' team of Congress.

PM Modi is one person. Yes he is a PM. No one person can change the basic culture of a nation of 1.25 Billion people. It is not that Modi control all aspects of any government.

Rape is not a federal issue only. Mostly it is local issue, state issue and people issue. In the world among reported rapes India is one of the safest country.

Vast majority of Indian public that is not poor IS Corrupt. It is corrupt by staying silent and going along Or by actively promoting corruption. Most modern Indians are dirty - they spit in the roads and have no pride. They make roads and public places filthy. Most Indians who think they are educated like to argue and otherwise useless.

And they like to complain about a government without suggesting one alternative leader or vision.

With such a population only idiots will be in power and will be looting the country. Modi is an anomaly. For the sake of India let us hope he gets re-elected. Not being corrupt is a character issue and those that are into corruption in their own life can never understand why a non corrupt leader is powerful

The first sensible post in the entire thread, apart from the posts of a-TB who is fighting a futile battle to focus on the issue
and not on the personalities.

The whiners deliberately want to obfuscate the issue that it will take years and years to dismantle the ecosystem put in place by 70 years Congress rule, including in the judiciary. One example would be PC and his son who have managed to get anticipatory bail for over 2 years from one Court or another to frustrate the enquiry lodged in Aircel Maxis case. The case has introduced a new word in the lexicon as that of "Bench hopping"

Rape is not a federal issue only. Mostly it is local issue, state issue and people issue. In the world among reported rapes India is one of the safest country.
Yes and strangely the people who know that law and order is a State subject would like to drag Central Government into it.

Vast majority of Indian public that is not poor IS Corrupt. It is corrupt by staying silent and going along Or by actively promoting corruption.
Slight modification is required here. Most Indians are poor and also (and/or because of poverty) are corrupt. A couple of posters very gleefully posted the failure of Demonetization. What they knew and did not post deliberately was a large number of ordinary Indians were complicit in the failure of the scheme by exchanging the Old Currency notes on behalf of the Big boys either for commission or to stay in good books of the powerful and influential. A large number of upper and lower middle class also helped to torpedo the DEMO by working as bank clerks and officials and exchanging the old notes on the sly.

Most modern Indians are dirty - they spit in the roads and have no pride. They make roads and public places filthy.
Contrary to your noting, many roads in cities and villages are spick and span, at least the ones I have seen. The Congressis of our forum who supposedly follow Mahatma Gandhi's ideals, never brought out this topic of unhygienic and unclean conditions although it was MKG who stated "Cleanliness is next to Godlinesss"

And they like to complain about a government without suggesting one alternative leader or vision.
Although I partially agree that they do not come with suggestions, I also feel that the incoming Government should come in with their alternate vision.

Modi is an anomaly. For the sake of India let us hope he gets re-elected. Not being corrupt is a character issue and those that are into corruption in their own life can never understand why a non corrupt leader is powerful
Yes Modi is an anamoly and they are at a loss to understand the reasons for his success.

To correct Indian political system, the first and foremost action should be to totally abolish dynastic politics, at least for the post of PM and CMs.

Politics as a business to loot will get reduced to a sizable extent, if this is achieved.

Public and Social Media have to play a major role to achieve this.

Do we have an alternative to Modi...The Hindutva mascot is required for 5 more years to complete the agenda...We should support him unequivocally so that BJP gets complete majority in both Lok Sabha & Rajya Sabha!! Congress under Rahul is not even a shade of the Iron Lady Indira Gandhi!!

India is due for change. The big boys -BJP and congress will take a back seat . A coalition of regional parties is likely to emerge .The change is not due to bad performance but

only fatigue with the present dispensation.India will throw up a leader who hopefully will last a few years. We have had too much of government and governance.Preserving

the gains and consolidation will help.

Shankar Vedantam wrote a Washington Post article and also appeared on NPR to discuss The Decoy Effect: Given a choice between two options, introducing a third, clearly inferior, option can influence your original decision. You won't pick the third option, but a clever choice of the bad third option can sway the decision toward either of the other two.

Rationally, an inferior third option should have no effect on your choice between the two other options, but psychologists (and marketing majors) have discovered that human beings are not rational decision makers.

But if you are Bhakt, you forgo your choice.

Woman dumps a man after finding he is Modi-bakth !!!

http://socialkashmir.in/blog/social-media/women-dumps-man-finding-modi-bhakt/

According to a Times of India report, a businessman in UP was due to get married to a woman who is a government employee. The article doesn’t disclose the names of the parties and neither where the couple is located, but says the betrothed duo had decided to meet at a temple to finalise the arrangements of the wedding.
Everything appaently was going smoothly till one of them raised the topic of the economic slowdown in the country. While the woman was reportedly conviced that the person responsible for this was Modi, the man was a Modi supporter and refused to buy the reasoning. Soon a heated argument followed and the two decided to part ways.
Much to the apparent – and understandable shock – of their families, the two conveyed their decision to not get married any more to them
LOL !!!
