You have a nice waiter at your call to wait on you!

Nice to be macho like this - catching cow or cockroaches!

I don't think that Sunder Pitchai said this (Ref: https://www.quora.com/Did-Sundar-Pi...kroach-theory-of-life-that-is-ascribed-to-him )

Sunder Pitchai did not get a degree from MIT - He went to Stanford and UPenn (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sundar_Pichai)

Pichai was born in[SUP][2][/SUP] Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India, in a Tamil family to Lakshmi and Ragunatha Pichai.[SUP][12][/SUP] He spent his childhood in Madras (now Chennai). His father was a senior electrical engineer at General Electric, and managed a factory that made electrical components.[SUP][13][/SUP][SUP][14][/SUP][SUP][15][/SUP] Sundar grew up in a two-room apartment on 46th Street, 7th Avenue, in Ashok Nagar, Chennai.[SUP][16][/SUP]
Sundar completed his Class X at Jawahar Vidyalaya, Ashok Nagar Chennai and completed the Class XII from Vana Vani school located in the IIT, Chennai. Pichai earned his degree from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in Metallurgical Engineering. He holds an M.S. from Stanford University in Material Sciences and Engineering and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was named a Siebel Scholar and a Palmer Scholar, respectively.

A superb theory given by Sundar Pichai in a speech in Google I/O. It’s called “The Cockroach Theory for Self Development“.At a restaurant, a cockroach suddenly flew from somewhere and sat on a lady. She started screaming out of fear. With a panic stricken face and trembling voice, she started jumping, with both her hands desperately trying to get rid of the cockroach. Her reaction was contagious, as everyone in her group also got panicky. The lady finally managed to push the cockroach away…But it landed on another lady in the group. Now, it was the turn of the other lady in the group to continue the drama. The waiter rushed forward to their rescue. In the relay of throwing, the cockroach next fell upon the waiter. The waiter stood firm, composed himself and observed the behavior of the cockroach on his shirt. When he was confident enough, he grabbed it with his fingers and threw it out of the restaurant.Sipping my coffee and watching the amusement, the antenna of my mind picked up a few thoughts and started wondering, was the cockroach responsible for their histrionic behavior? If so, then why was the waiter not disturbed? He handled it near to perfection, without any chaos. It is not the cockroach, but the inability of the ladies to handle the disturbance caused by the cockroach that disturbed the ladies.I realized that, it is not the shouting of my father or my boss or my wife that disturbs me, but it’s my inability to handle the disturbances caused by their shouting that disturbs me. It’s not the traffic jams on the road that disturbs me, but my inability to handle the disturbance caused by the traffic jam that disturbs me.More than the problem, it’s my reaction to the problem that creates chaos in my life.Lessons learnt from the story: “Do not react in life. Always respond.“The women reacted, whereas the waiter responded.

I think JJji was right.

This is another seen in the mirror If JJ is Rathna this is Padma for sure!

You can’t be funny if you are dumb. Not willingly.” Model-turned-reality TV host Padma Lakshmi made headlines last year with her searingly honest memoir, Love, Loss and What We Ate. Now, 10 months after her initial interviews for the book, when she tackled every possible question on her relationship with ex-husband and author Salman Rushdie, her romance with billionaire Teddy Forstmann, and dealing with endometriosis, the Top Chef star is ready for her India tour.

She talks about custody of her daughter - I thought endometriosis cause infertility - need Renu's opinion

Nature has provided woman strong inner strength to face much worst situations than man. Calling her as "abhala" is just a fallacy. Motherhood is bestowed on her by the creator to bear and rear another life, due to this unique natural ability.

Who ever has narrated the story, it has sense! Hence the claps from me.

That is the point. When the theme can stand on its own, why do we need some supposed"quotes" from some "authority"?

Newspapers have become tabloids and talk shows have become opinion peddling and more and more people are falling for this ruse.

In fact there was a series of threads in our forum based merely on make believe TV opera of "neeyaa naanaa" or some such title and our enlightened foreign based members started "pravachanam" based on those episodes to point out to the uncouth natives as to what is wrong with ignorant bigoted two tongued TBs !!
