iFly Singapore is ultimately the world’s first large themed wind tunnel that is designed for indoor skydiving. Worried about bouncing off the walls? The device spans some 16 feet in width and is 56 feet tall (almost five stories high). Also, when you first go in, you have an instructor with you to help you get the feel of how it all works.
You can see the basics of how it works in the image below. In short, enormous tunnels use oversize fans to cycle air through a chamber. The force of the wind is such that it keeps you afloat.
