In madurai famous mariamman temple is situated in West Masi Street,near the then famous Udupi Hotels, where we lived during 1968-77. The Mariamman is very famous and every year there is festival during March-april and the Amman is worshiped in different postures/alangaarams. The fotos attached are of various alangaram (postures) of Sri Mariamman. On my special interest, I want to share these.
