Union Minister Maneka Gandhi has come up with a unique suggestion making prenatal sex determination test compulsary in India. She has also suggested that sex if the to be born child to be told to the parents and a record of such tests should be kept. All cases should be strictly monitored and records kept by the government so as to ensure that every female child is born and the menance of female foeticide is properly controlled.
