Mahabharatha serial is being telecast in Sun TV every Sunday in the morning.

Pandavas, Gauravas and the seniors are shown sporting gopi like Vadamas, Sakuni is differently shown and the Kula Gurus are shown sporting Vibhuthi and Kumkum like Saivites.

Is it correct depiction or a direction mistake?

If it is incorrect, what is the correct way of projection?
