Kumuti- கும்மிட்டீ அடுப்பு...How many of you remember this ?

Iam having one at my home, not in use, but as a piece memory.
Kumuti- கும்மிட்டீ அடுப்பு + visiri (palm leaf-fan)..... cherish in memory.
 
Can be bought in mylapore even now, for domestic use. Charcoal stoves are used extensively by roadside vendors specially those who barbecue corn.

Better option for chuttifying brinjal, banana, sweet beet.

in my grand mother's house....we used to have kumutti.....which is made of cast iron...i like rasam made in kumutti.....it

is very helpful for MADI SAMAYAL.....
