Kiran Bedi has been assigned the post of Lt. Governor of Puducherry. Her appointment immediately after BJPs failure to secure entry in to the 30 member assembly has raised many eye brows. During her illustrious carrier as an IPS officer of UT cadre, Andaman and Pudecherry were the places she couldn't serve. Now she has a totally different role to play. Bedi’s appointment comes at a time when charges of corruption have been flying around in Puducherry. Will she be able to clean it up and make it a model UT? Therein lies the challenge.

Kiran Bedi who made very much an unsuccessful attempt in Delhi UT Elections, has now been appointed as Lt. Governor of Puducherry.

BJP has 2 in 1 effect ......................... Giving head ache to Congress Govt. in Puducheery besides keeping Kiran Bedi away from New Delhi.
