I have been going through some of our family history - Our fore fathers had Palaiyur attached to their names including an Iyer suffix . Over many generations both got dropped and we lost our understanding with our roots . I am given to understand our kuladeivam is the Kannamma Kaliamma temple at Palaiyur . Searches on google and a blind call to a rotarian leads to only 2 temple names Agnishwar and Sadashivam temples in and around Nerur .
Would anyone here have knowledge of this temple and is there a way to establish phone contact ?
