Kaaval Daivam / Kula Devatha Kizhambur

In a Prashnam for our family, we understand that there is a Kaaval Daivam temple in Kizhambur, Tirunelveli District. Would like to know the previous history of this temple to do Pariharam. Anyone knowing about this temple, please help.

Also, our forefathers who originally lived in Kodaganallur, said to have migrated to Kizhambur and settled there. In one of these places, a Sastha Temple is said to have been washed away by flood or removed and the deities along with parivarams left somewhere in a cave or hill region unattended. Any information about this Sastha temple will help resolve this.

My great grand father's name is Sri Venkatrama Dikshidar who lived in Kizhambur.

Looking for any sort of inputs or assistance in finding our Kula Daivam - (Sastha) and starting our prayers there.

Regards
