IIT Madras offers 2014 scholarship to Ph.D and M.S students, apply online

IIT Madras, one of the foremost institute in technological education, is providing a golden opportunity to students for a scholarship. Scholars admitted to Ph.D. and M.S. programmes under regular scheme (fulltime) are eligible to apply for the 2015 research programme. IITM in its official research brochure has invited applications for financial assistance to applicants online for half-time Teaching/Research Assistantship (HTRA), before the last date.

Even in late sixties stipend was available for all admitted to post graduate and research programmes. It was Rs 250 pm for M. Tech. and Rs 400 pm for Ph.D. Now it is rs 8000 and 18000.
