Can anyone of you tell me who is my kuldevi or devta???

How can anyone answer such a question? If your kula etc is important to you , you can do research and refine your question.

Otherwise, here is a suggestion. Take Surya devatha (Sun) as God . Call it Suryanarayan if you wish. Surya is a witness to all. Everything that you interact with is only due to sun. Learn to chant and know the meaning of Gayatri Mantra. Your deity is Surya and your mantra is Gayatri Mantra

Dear all, namaskarams. We request some assistance in knowing our kuladeivam.
Our grand father was a native of Mahadanapuram, karur district. He got settled in Nizamabad, then Andhrapradesh. We were told Lord Palani Murugan in Andi Avataram is our kula deivam. Now, suddenly our priest says, it might not be, and to search for the kula deivam. Anyone kindly share info on this. We belong to Bhalakhilya gothram

Thread 'Kula dheivam, finding my family deity have been a difficult task for me. Need Help'

My Father says, It's Venkatachalapathy, but most says that Kuladheivam cant be Bigger gods, it will be nearby gods like Karupaswamy, and also my father side relatives are not of worth to speak and be in touch but they also say that Its Thirumalai, rest of my family relations have defined family Deity and my fam doesn't have one its some times frustrating. Is there a way we can find our Family Deity and also can a Iyer have Perumal as Family Deity, since there is mark like Iyengars only will have Lord Vishnu and Iyers its Lord Shiva, I strongly believe this Saivam and vainavam fight useless...

First off, there is no such thing as “Kuladeivam” (=குல தெய்வ) or “Kuladeivam worship” in Hinduism. It is an arrant superstition that has been spread by ignorant Tamil Hindus in India, and which has virally spread, especially, to Singapore and Malaysia.

Neither the four Srutis nor Upa-Vedas and Upanishads, and none of the hordes of Smritis, Puranas, Upa-Puranas, Tamil Puranas, the two Ithihaas has made any mention of “Kuladeivam” or “Kuladeivam worship”. Not even the Aimperumkappiyankaḷ, the five large narrative...
