Nowadays Kids do wonders with i pad , but for many oldies, it is still a mystery.

I am also sailing in the same boat with other many oldies. Actually I am even afraid of touching
a i pad or tablet as I do not know how to operate the same. My granddaughter is willing to
get me an i pod or tablet phone etc., but I flatly refused to accept any such thing.What am I
to do. I am quite happy with a laptop. That is enough for me.​

Many oldies do not even use the facilities that can be done with Cell Phones too; like giving SMS, listening music, erasing all unwanted sales messages; they simply receive calls, and make calls, nothing more!!
If a new cell phone is given to them, they are at a Sea!!

In the Modern world you need to grow with the newer technology. You grow or you will be left behind. Microsoft just announced that they are not going to support window XP. That means older laptops will be vulnerable to security lapses. Actually there ai fear that Dell, Microsoft, Intel, Amd may become obsolete in the near future.
So instead of holding on to the old we need to move to the newer platforms.
