How your carry-on baggage may get treated

The video below shows how a prominent Airlines’ baggage handlers ‘handled’ the carry-on luggage that had to be gate-checked because it wouldn’t fit on the plane.

So, if your carry-on baggage won’t fit in the overhead bin, and if the flight attendant asks you to check your bags at the gate, take your camera and other fragile items out before you hand your carry on over.

Watch out
Damage to hand baggage is very common in india in flights. it is callously handled. I have more than once got them damaged in air travel . normally I avoid putting expensive things in hand baggage . it is better in larger suitcases. you also have to fight it out to collect compensation and collect a pittance for damage and loss suffered besides time loss
