I am very short sighted ,I might imagine that even lampposts in steel have sky high libidos.

wisdom is in short supply in most men.

also if one spends a lot of time in a day with a person , one stops looking at physical attributes.

one discovers by hit and trial a comfort level for working together . it is all in the mind and it is only intellectual bonding which is work oriented. somewhere the gender

part becomes insignificant. if intellect matches a bond develops.

Right now I am a female boss. But when I used to work in the government service I always preferred a good looking female boss cos they are less fussy.

I have noted that some plain janes can be ruthless.

I had worked with one and she made everyone's life hell.

The good looking female boss I had worked with before was nice and kind to all.

When it comes to males..handsome or not handsome does not really make that much of a difference...but height matters for a male!LOL

There used to be one boss I knew who had a poor body image but he was extremely arrogant.He hated any female taller than him.

Once during rounds in the hospital he told us taller females direct on our faces that he hates woman who are tall and a woman should be short and cute.

We were thinking that makes sense for him since he did not even reach 5 feet 5!

So he was biased and used to treat us taller females badly.

So you see finally I think it all depends on the confidence level of the person.

When I had entered private sector I used to work for a lady boss who was stylish and attractive..she used to give us young doctors tips on dressing and grooming.

She was nice to work with.

But when it comes to a male boss..always make sure he is happily married otherwise we have to suffer hearing his sob stories about his wife and him!LOL

I will give you an example of how some female bosses brains function!LOL

Once I had to work in the blood bank to do screening for all blood donors.

I was shocked to know that many blood donors were actually lying about their lifestyle and donating blood.

Those who frequent sex workers and not allowed to donate blood.

But that day I asked everyone who came about their lifestyle and one guy told me that he was just coming from the brothel!

I asked him why he lied when he signed up the first time that he never goes to sex workers?

He said becos blood bank screen HIV for free..so he can get a free HIV screen when he donates blood.
I told him that he is putting other lifes at risk cos there is a window period when HIV cant be detected yet and it will be still negative and some one who receives that blood might get HIV much later.

I asked him if he used a condom and he said No.

So I struck him of the list of regular blood donors.

It was very obvious the doctors before me had not taken the trouble to screen the sexual history of donors properly.

This way I cancelled many donors.

Then the next day I was called up by my lady boss as why I cancelled so many donors.

I told her that they were going to sex workers and not using condoms and by rules of the blood bank they are not allowed to donate blood.

Then her eyes widened..(she was some age 45) and at that time I was 27 years old(unmarried) and she asked me" OMG you actually asked a man if he wears a condom?"

I said "yes..that is the screening procedure"

She then said "My My you are one daring girl at this age unmarried and having so much guts to ask a man that question..I would never dare even imagine asking a man that question in my life ever"

I was thinking what was wrong with her..we are doctors and trained to screen patients and ask patients question why was she acting all shy here.

Then she still went on telling me that she wonders how I did not feel shy and this made me pissed...becos she was directly implying that I seemed shameless when I was actually doing my job correctly.

So I told her this "even if you think I am shameless at least that managed to safe a few lives instead of letting someone receive blood that could carry potential HIV ..what if the recipient happens to be a member of your family..I am sure you would then appreciate my shamelessness"

She kept quiet.

So you see what was her problem?? There is no need to make fun of a doctor who was doing her work right..she was trying to tell me that I was shameless!LOL

I can give you so many instances of such perverse behaviour by my lady boss
my boss was very possessive abut her group members and used to believe all men in her group were her private property and no ladies specially good looking young ladies should deal with them even professionally

some vendors of equipment [good looking girls ] .would drop in to hawk their products.

those would be treated badly if it was found they had approached her boys. similarly the boys would have to explain their behaviour to her.

she would ensure none of her boys transacted with them

this moral stance she believed would keep boys on the straight path.lol

specially old bachelors [initially I was bachelor for 2 years in her regime] found this diktat painful.I had a roving eye also though a bit short sighted.

if someone belonged to her community , she was a mother figure also . She would bring curd in a small box everyday to be given to one of her boys who was recovering

from illness, God , 30 year old being treated as small kid can be an experience

She used to be loud and dress down youngsters in her booming voice that the whole hall full of people could hear.

I found out that if she became strangely quiet , there was something wrong and discreetly find out what was wrong.

yet she could bottle her emotions and become icy cool when tragedies struck her .

once I was talking with her on telephone , we talked of inconsequential things for more than fifteen minutes and before hanging up asked a formal question ' are you ok at personal level ,

she responded after a minute of silence " my father passed away last night'. great , I was stumped and went to meet her to do what I could for her'

how to deal with such strange people .lol

So the assistant sees her female boss vulnerable for a moment and asks her "is there anything I could do for you"

The lady boss said 'yes..your job"

I feel there is no valid reason to make sure her "boys" stayed in the straight path as long work in the office was done.

Your boss really seems to have some problem with pretty girls and try to be so called 'mother' figure to the boys.

You know I have noted that overly motherly females who tend to smother with so called motherly love are actually seeking male attention but somehow they are able to cover it up well.

quietly changed my dept and vanished .

she was very upset . she wondered what was wrong . she was nice and motherly and behaved as mothers do.lol
