History of Srivaishnavas

HI All,Its a well known fact that Jains,Buddhists and other non Hindu people were included among Srivaishnavas during Ramanujacharya's period. After they became Srivaishnava, which caste did they belong to? Whether it was Brahmin,Kshatriya,Vaishya or Shudra ? Also, did they belong to thenkalai SV or Vadagalai SV few centuries after Ramanujacharya(I suppose Thenkalai and Vadagalai sects were not there during Ramanujacharya)?

They are Ahl -Al- Narayana...people of Narayana.

Dear Sir...why Ramanuja daasan?

Isnt Vaishnavaism about surrender to Narayana.

Shouldnt everyone be a Vishnu Daasan?

Vishnu is God and Ramanuja is His messenger.
