My name is Krishnamurthy Swaminathan & I am a brahmin from Manargudi. Although I havent been very religious in my life my parents were very religious and they tried to cultivate it in me from childhood. I lost my father R.Swaminathan last month and since then I am trying to find my roots in religionand rituals. I particularly interested in the Pitrigal kariyam and any suggestions are welcome. As I work & live in Dubai I dont have the privilege of having a Vadhiyar who will help me perform a proper Shratham. Hence I have to make do with Hrinya sshratham for the 27th day and the 45th day ceremonies. I shall make a trip to India for the 6month ceremony.
