Has Covid Changed Our Life ?

Everyday I wake up resigned to news of next corona variant.Omicron being the latest.
I hear of more getting hospitalised and death counts raising.
Some vaccinated complaining of side effects .Women with pasr history of ailments have become more vulnerable
Masks and vaccination only reduce risk of fresh infections
Hospitals have become death traps and more tending to hide their medical condition and risking their lives. staying home.
There is general apathy and most do not care what happens to neighbours .
Job losses and economic miseries of have nots
do not seem to move anyone to any action.Inequalities have only increased leading more to reach below the poverty line.
Well off have money but not for spending even on themselves.
Malls are near empty.
Most do not consume outside food as it might not be safe.
Many women are carrying the burden of running their family as their menfolk have lost their jobs.
They work as maids or cooks .
It may take a long time for normality to return

RBI has announced credit policy leaving repo and reverse rates unchanged.
Inflation pressures continue.
Sounded optimistic about growth.
Talked about more liquidity in the economy than warranted
Stock markets are positive.
All information should make one optimistic
But Retail prices are shooting up with supply demand mismatches.
Nothing much is getting reflected on the ground
Rains have added to the miseries.
There are not any takers for either rented or sale properties in metros
Very few are returning to work in offices with work from home is preferred choices for most
School hoing children are getting mixed signals from school.
Schools open for a day or two and shut again due to virus fears.
I think normality is still far away.
I prefer to only postpone travel plans
I am stuck far away from my delhi home.
Hope things change for the better.
Nothing much to look fwd.to

Omicron does not seem to have affected life much.
Most prefer to get treated home.
Hospital beds are almost empty.
Most with other ailments are postponing treatment at hospitals due to omcron scare.
Only nurses attendants and interns are available in hospitals for care.
Seniors stay home and give online consultations
Hospitals charge a bomb advising a lot of tests if they come to know that you have insurance cover.
General GP private ones are better to consult face to face.
