State-run Air India on Monday said it will sell tickets at a price equal to AC train fares on six more routes. On Sunday, Air India had reduced fares on flights to Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore and Chennai from Delhi to match those offered by Indian Railways’ Rajdhani AC-II coach. Now, the scheme will apply to flights from Delhi to Ranchi, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Goa, Patna and Raipur as well.
This means passengers can fly Delhi-Ahmedabad for Rs2,270, Delhi-Patna for Rs2,315 and Delhi-Goa for Rs3,665.
These fares would be available for sale four hours before the scheduled departure of the flight and can be booked through Air India website, city and airport booking offices and its call centre.
