Gokulashtami would have been celebrated at all houses.I am sure.
Though it is late My congrats to all .
Does anyone of our Community knows the reason why our ancestors avoided to do any Good Works or to initiate any work during Ashtami?
Does anyone knows the real Scientific reason Hiding behind the Rituals adopted by our ancestors on those days ?

Because the ,"Earth" we live in will be at the exact centre between Moon and Sun during Ashtami Days.
The Force of the Sun and Moon will tempts to pull the Earth towards them (Sun and Moon respectively) on Ashtami Days.
As a Result of it There will be a Huge Vibration will prevail on the Earth.
This Vibration will have perfect Impact on all the Living Beings living on the Earth.
All living beings living on the Earth will have a Fluctuating or wavering Thought on this day because of the Position of the earth we live in.
We cant arrive at a Specific decisions on those days,(Ashtami).
It will be cleared only on Navamy .
This is the reason why our ancestors avoided Ashtami to initiate any good deeds.

---Speech by Kannadasan.----
On those days we have no Telescope to see the planets.
How our ancestors invented this...
This is the wonder of Hinduism.
