God’s Abode:

God’s Abode:

God's abode is always in the Heart of His Baktha's Mind and Heart.


However With limited Human Mind We think that :

Sri Vishnu ‘s abode is Sri Vaikuntam, Para Brahmam Shiva’s abode is Kailash, Pranava Swaroopa Sri Vinayakas’s abode is Ananthapuri, GOD Thiru Karthikeya's abode is Skanda Logam, Devendran’s abode is Deva Logam, Goddess Ambal’s abode, is Sri Puram, ( Sri chakra purna Maha meru Peedam) Her abode is protected by nine Castles, Female Devathas do the duty of Security.

Indra's abode Amravati was built by Indra himself. It is situated near Mount Udaya and glows with the radiance of the Sun. It is one hundred yojanas wide, one hundred fifty yojanas long and five yojanas high. Indra's abode is airborne and can travel anywhere at will. It is laden with golden seats and a large number of celestial trees. In the middle of Indra's assembly hall, there is a large seat where Indra sits along with his consort Sachi. The personified feminine forms of modesty, fame and radiance always surround Indra at his abode. Indra's assembly hall is named Pushkaramalini. Indra is worshiped by divine beings like Adityas, Saddhyas, Siddhas and Maruts at his abode.




Yama's abode was built by Vishwakarma. Yama's abode is one hundred yojanas long and one hundred yojanas wide. It can roam anywhere at will in Patala. The residents of Yama's abode are free from grief, old age, hunger, thirst, misery and fatigue.


All the desires of the residents are fulfilled there. Great kings and famous celestial sages attend upon Yama at his abode. Yama is worshiped by kings like Yayati, Nahusha, Puru, Mandhata, Suratha, Indradyumna, Kritavirya, Duhshanta, Shibi and Marutta. Yama's two counsellors Kala and Mrityu always takes charge of the dead.


The wheel of time assumes an embodied form and ordains the destiny of the dead, as per their actions in the material world. Yama's abode is full of trees like Shimshapa, Palasha, Kasha and Kusha. Divine beings like gandharvas and apsaras also dwell at Yama's abode.

Varuna's abode is situated under the cosmic ocean and was built by Vishwakarma. It is white in radiance with white walls, portals and platforms. It is one hundred yojanas long and one hundred yojanas wide.


Varuna's abode is surrounded by divine bejewelled trees, yielding flowers and fruits all the time. A large number of beautiful sweet-toned birds of many varieties are found in Varuna's abode. In the centre of the abode is Varuna's assembly hall, where Varuna sits with his companions God and Pushkara holding a large white umbrella above his head.


A large number of serpents and demon kings wait upon Varuna at his abode. Serpents like Vasuki, Takshaka, Airavata and Ashwatara worships Varuna at his abode.


Demons kings like Bali, Naraka, Durmukha and Sankha lives in Varuna's abode, but cannot take birth in material world again because they are bound by Varuna's noose all the time. A larger number of celestial rivers originate from Varuna's abode, like Bhagirathi, Kalindi, Vidisha, Veena, Vegavahini, Vipasha, Shatadru, Chandrabhaga, Saraswati, Iravati, Vitasta and Devananda. Mountains full of jewels are found in Varuna's abode, with gandharvas and apsara singing at the peaks of the mountains.



Kubera's abode was built by Kubera himself. It is one hundred yojanas long and seventy yojanas wide. It has radiance like the Moon and is situated near Mount Kailasha.


Kubera's abode rotates along a fixed axis and is dwelled by a large number of yakshas. It is decorated with celestial jewels and golden trees. It radiates rays and looks resplendent in the sky


In the middle of Kubera's abode is the assembly hall, where Kubera sits in a large throne decorated with the best of jewels. In the midst of one thousand women, Kubera's sits in a throne covered with divine clothes and celestial footstools. There are expensive coral trees and beautiful groves in Kubera's abode.


Kubera sports with the apsaras in two gardens named Alaka and Nandana. Gandharvas, surrounded by the apsaras, sing divine songs in celestial tones at Kubera's abode. Kubera's son Nalakubera sports with his wife in Nandana garden. Apsaras like Rambha, Menaka, Urvashi, Ira, Varga and Charunetra sport in Kubera's gardens.


GOD Brahma's abode or Satyaloka is the highest among the fourteen realms of the material world.

Hunger, thirst and all types of fatigue disappear as soon as someone enters GOD Brahma's abode.


The place is beautifully coloured and supported by large white pillars. Brahma's abode does not decay and remains eternal till the end of the creation. Brahma's assembly hall shines with radiance that surpasses the beauty of the Sun and the Moon. The rafters of Brahma's abode signify the zenith of the material world. In the middle of the assembly hall, Brahma sits in a grand lotus and constantly creates the beings through the power of his austerities. Brahma creates days, nights, fortnights, months, seasons, years, yugas and kalpas.



Paramatma Shiva lives in Mount Kailasha, located in the north-eastern side of Kubera's abode.


Paramatma Shiva created Mount Kailasha through the power of his austerities. Mount Kailasha is the reflection of the original abode of Paramatma Shiva, called Anandavan Shivaloka, which is above the fourteen realms of the material world.


Paramatma Shiva sports with his wife Parvati in Mount Kailasha, which is spread over a distance of one crore yojanas. Two important lakes are situated near Mount Kailasha. Lake Manasarovar was created from the mind of God Brahma.


Gauri Kund is the sacred bathing place of Goddess Parvati where GOD Ganesha was born. At the summit of Mount Kailasha, Paramatma Shiva sits in meditation accompanied by crores of his companions, the ghosts, goblins, pishachas and ganas.


When Paramatma Shiva seats in meditation, crores of cosmic eggs are created from the power of his meditation.


Paramatma Shiva, the protector of the three worlds, dwells in Mount Kailasha with Goddess Parvati and his sons, God Ganesha and God Kartikeya.



The 14 Lokas of Hinduism:
Now the 14 Lokas include seven higher worlds and seven lower. The earth is considered to be the lowest among the seven higher worlds. These 7 higher worlds are the 7 Vyahrtis and 7 Patalas.
The 7 Vyarthis:

  1. Satya-loka:Satya-loka is also known as the Brahma loka and this loka is the topmost loka in the material universe. This is the abode of truth where atmans are released from the need of rebirth.


  1. Tapa-loka: This is the abode of tapas or of other Gods and Goddesses.


  1. Jana-loka: This is the house of the sons of God Brahma.


  1. Mahar-loka: This is the dwelling of great sages and laissez-faire beings like Markendeya and other rishis.


  1. Svar-loka: This expanse is between the sun and the polar star. This is the heaven of GOD Indra. Indra, other Gods, Rishis, Gandharvas and Apsaras live here. This place is full of heavenly ecstasy where all the 330 million Hindu Gods (Devatas) live along with the king of Gods, Indra.




  1. Bhuvar-loka or Pitri Loka: This is the place of the Sun, planets, stars and the space between earth and the Sun. It is an actual region, the atmosphere, the place of soul and essence.


  1. Bhur-loka:This is the place where the Earth dwells. According to the Vishnu Purana the earth is simply one of thousands of billions of occupied worlds like itself located in the Universe.
The 7 Patalas

  1. Atala-loka: This loka is ruled by Bala – son of Maya – who enjoys supernatural powers. By one yawn, Bala created three types of women – Svairinis – the self willed women who marry men from their own group; Kaminis – lustfull women who marry men from any group; and finally Pumscalis – those women who gave themselves fully and continue changing their partner.


  1. Vitala-loka: This Loka is ruled by the God Hara-Bhava – an incarnation of Paramatma Shiva. The residents of this dominion are decorated with gold from this region.


  1. Sutala-loka: Sutala is the kingdom of the virtuous demon king Mahabali.


  1. Talatala-loka: This loka is the kingdom of the demon-architect Maya, who is well-versed in necromancy.


  1. Mahatala-loka: Mahātala is the abode of many-hooded Nagas – the sons of Kadru – lead by Krodhavasha band of Kuhaka, Taksshaka, Kaliya and Sushena.


  1. Rasatala-loka: This is the home of the Danavas and Daityas, who are the everlasting foes of Devatas.


  1. Patala-loka: The lowest territory of the materialistic universe is called Patala or Nagaloka. Vasuki is the rular of this Naga region. Here live quite a lot of Nagas whose hoods are decorated with a jewel and thus enlighten this realm with the lights reflected from the jewels.
