Some times back, may be around July 14. there was a proposal to consider people spend Rs. 32/- a day in rural sector and Rs. 47/- a day was submitted to the Government of India. That means India should show a much improved graph in this respect!! The US$1.90 per day converted to Indian currency comes to much more than that.
