First year thithi - tamil month

Vanakkam,

My appa iraivanadi serntha naal : 17.01.2022 03:00
Thithi - Chathurdasi
Shukla Paksha

When I try to find the date for first year thithi, few sites advise it should be on 05.01.2023 as Chathurdasi is on 5th.
But 17/01/22 is Thai maasam, whereas 5/01/23 is Margazhi.

Should the first year thithi be on 05/01/23 or should it match Thai maasam, so 04/02/23? Please can someone advise?

04-02-2023 will be the varushaptheekam day. thai month sukla paksham chathurdasi thithi.
