V live away from India and as per what shastrigal here says that Pitru homam is not to be done in a foreign country. That is why v r doing Hiranya shrardam every month involving no homam. At the same time, there r compelling reasons for not going to India on the scheduled date for the annual shrardam. Now the questions are
!) Is it allowed to postpone the annual shrardam to a different month say by a month or so when I will be able to visit India?
2) Being the eldest son, I am the one supposed to do; but can my younger brothers who r in India perform this ceremony on the scheduled date and what would be my role then?
