I had the fortune to read the roy moxham's the great hedge of india, thanks to the toronto public library. i would be surprised if this fab book is available in any indian public library. sad to say.

jayamohan in his own unique way has contributed to a tamil translation of this very significant book from a historical viewpoint and also the hollowness of our current scholars.

I have read this book.

The deterioration that the academic domain is going through is a well known fact. It is beyond redemption. The best that one with conscience and self respect can do is just keep away from it. Here also narrow considerations of castes, religion, politics and favouritism plays a large role.

Most of the research papers are just cut and paste jobs. The viva is a big joke. LOL.
