a vadagalai will not enter a thenkalai temple or a hare krishna will not enter a shiva temple and all three together will not enter a shiva temple.....so,like this idiotic practices we also have...we have also killed amongst ourselves.....we are equally culpable of any crimes on the basis of religion....a babri masjid was built on sri rama temple...today,the nerve the muslims have is disrespect hindus in their own motherland.....churches are being built on temple lands of hindus...hindus are funding for haj pilgrimage for unfaithful indians....hindus are funding the church proselytisers,who rampantly are rewriting our scriptures and roam freely in india....

You are perfectly right, Sri Nachi Naga. Such self-glorifying items are seen routinely in the internet and also in our inboxes and these are proof that the majority of Hindus don't know of their past, the inconvenient parts of which have been successfully whitewashed by now. There is a famous novelette in Malayalam titled "ntuppuppaaykkoraanENDArnnu" (this is Muslim slang, meaning"My grandfather had - owned - an elephant". Based on this past glory a muslim woman wants her children to live an aristocratic life, whereas in reality they had been reduced to abject poverty by time. At last her sons had to tell her that things have changed and she better stop harping on her so-called good old days.

At least in that story the grandfather owned an elephant whereas in the case of Hindus, we don't know whether a golden era of no difference-all unity, existed at all.
