I wonder if members have any Dream Guy or Dream Girl?

Please do not write about spouses here...this thread is just to let imaginations run wild.

Members can share who they admire most..anyone in the past or present or any imaginary friend too.

My dream guy is The Mahabharat Hero Karna.

He is such a perfect guy with great looks, passion, compassion, ambition, love, power, benevolence, intelligence and gratefulness...name it..he had it!

I had a wonderful experience of Love when I was just 21 !!

I will surely share that experience here after New Year!!

[h=2]Quick Ideas For Strengthening Friendships[/h]
  1. Call up a friend, text them, or send them an instant message. You don’t need to sit around waiting for your friends to come and knock on your door. They will appreciate your efforts to sustain the relationship.
  2. If a friend has something on their mind, take the time to listen to everything they have to say before responding. We often have the urge to give advice or try and fix the problem ourselves, but sometimes our friends just want somebody there to listen to them.
  3. Treat even your oldest, closest friends with politeness and respect. Familiarity makes being rude and crude seem like more of an option, and sometimes it can be, but keep in mind that you are still capable of hurting your friends’ feelings by being thoughtless.
  4. Stay positive when your friends come to you with their problems. When everything seems hopeless, we often depend on our friends to put things into perspective for us. Respect that your friend is having a rough time, but emphasize there will be a solution.
  5. When your friends trust you with secrets, never give them away, even to your other friends. All it takes is revealing even the smallest secret to cause irreparable damage to your relationship. This is something you can never get back completely, so think long and hard before you betray the trust of a friend.
  6. Watch out for fair-weather friends, and make sure you do not behave like one yourself. At the same time, do not test your friends unnecessarily. Problems will arise without you having to create them. When they do, you will be able to see who sticks by you.
  7. Be quick to end a friendship with someone you know in your heart is harming you and others. Keep in mind that no real friendships were ever formed out of pity. Staying friends with someone who is selfish and hurtful is poisonous both to you and to your other friends.
  8. If you have a friend who suffers a personal tragedy, reach out to them immediately. It can feel awkward to try and comfort someone going through something so dire, and you might not know what to say. But in the end, your friend will remember that you were there for them.

Ha Ha Ha..you attached pic of Shivaji Ganesan!

BTW Karna also had the "bad boy mysterious dark side" of him..he was with the Kauravas and not with the Pandavas....that makes him even more exciting.

Dear PJ sir,

At 21 who does not fall in love?

So kindly share your Lovvu story with us.

I was expecting SRK as your dream guy, Renu!!

Nope RR ji,

SRK is my favorite movie star...not Dream guy..my dream guy has always been Karna..when I first read Mahabharat I totally "fell in love" with his character..he was a person who had a sensitive side..always searching for something...but what made me respect him the most is.. for him "Blood is NOT Thicker than Water"...truly a person of substance.

Dear RR ji,

I was asking my husband last nite..who is his dream girl and he said "What??"

I said my dream guy is Karna and I started this thread in Forum etc....then he was 'Ok I was wondering what you were asking me"

Ok then he said he has no dream girl..I said "hey how can that be..just like how I admire Karna..isnt there someone you admire"

Then he said "I admire the bravery of Jhansi Rani and the love and compassion of Mother Theresa but not in a dream girl way..cos dream girl way means we are attracted to the person.. I admire Jhansi Rani and Mother Theresa for what they really were"

Then he said "You seem to love the character of Karna..dont you realize that no matter how great he was..he was still on the wrong side of Dharma?"

I said "Yes ..that is the best part of him..the bad boy side of him"

I wonder what is so hard for people to have a dream person? I really could not even get a proper answer from my husband!LOL

How is Karna "a bad boy" ? In fact he was know as "Daata Karna" for his charity.

"Wrong side of dharma" is also debatable. History (Mahabharata) was written by the victor.

You see a Bad Boy has a slight Anti Hero persona..He is technically a good guy with a streak of mystery in him..he makes his own rules and he sticks by it..he does not follow what the world expects him to do..he is a person who has a mind of his own.

Dear PJ sir,

Never have a desire in our heart that we wish to carry to our next birth..always keeps option open and let our Karma decide who will be the best for us in births to come...Desires take various shapes..being fond of someone might not always translate as how we picture it to be..sometimes a person we truly love might even be born as a child or parent in a next birth.

A person whom we did not marry and still crave for could have even been an enemy in a previous life..and the thoughts of not getting to marry them sort of gives us a "mild mental torture" too..so best is not be too attached to anyone.

BTW remember the story of King Janaka where he asked a Rishi about his past life and his present life wife was his mother in his previous birth..so you see better to let our Karma decide what is the best for us.

So PJ sir..do not desire anyone too much..otherwise your ex Lovvu could be born as your mother in your next birth!LOL

Dear PJ sir,

No need to think of her as amma, thangachi, daughter etc..just leave our mind blank..so in next birth..what ever will be will be.

BTW I cant wait to hear your Lovvu story..so many years and still you yearn for her..I have a feeling only guys dont forget their first love..girls dont really care much for ex flames..girls prefer new territory..that is basic instinct for continuation of species..

Just imagine if a female still craves for old love..she will not want to procreate with a new Alpha male..hence no continuation of species..so nature has given females the ability to delete any old memory and toss them into recycle bin and then empty cache and all data gone and they concentrate on the current Alpha Male.

Come to think of it..its nice being a Female..we have a short term memory!LOL

We never touched each other, but we loved each other, it was a Divine Love...

More later.. not now..

Dear Sir,

This is the part I can not understand about we Indians..why we want to call Lovvu as Divine love?

The only Divine Romance is between Paramatma and Jeevatma and that is unconditional..all other forms of love are Human Love and NOT Divine yaar..all other types of Love are Conditional.

A cocktail of hormones wreck havoc in our mind..we need not need to touch anyone to fall in love with them..there is also Internet Lovvu..where people dont meet yet fall in Lovvu..would anyone want to call Internet Lovvu as Divine Love??

PJ sir..whatever said and done..you are really very very innocent.

renukaji..

ok whatever name you call it , it was not after body contact; I loved to see her all the time!!

She was our neighbor , we can only see each other when she comes to terrace!!
She belonged to Muslim community, they always cover themselves when they go out..
She was convent educated, sweet 18 , when i saw her; she looked so simple and beautiful to me..

we developed eye contact and slowly showed signs of love.. through our eyes..

You wont believe this..we developed talking to each other in sign language and movement of lips!!

It was really a wonderful experience, no sound.. only sign...

It was going on.. and we fixed time to meet each day ( only by sign) and she used to come early and wait for me..

When i am writing this.. my heart is pounding more..
