I saw many postings about Rameswaram-Allahabad (Prayag)-Kashi-Gaya and it was mentioned that there is a Dhampati Pooja at Kashi on the last day of the Yatra. Is it necessary that it should be performed in Kashi alone or it can be performed back at home after return.

Dampati Pooja is always done at Kashi after completing all rituals at Prayag and Gaya.
Normally we are expected to purchase the materials and is performed at Vadyar's house.
