Most of the online listings show it listed as 12th Aug 2022. However a printed Tamil calendar shows it as Friday, 5th Aug 2022. Please clarify the Date for Varalakshmi Vratham 2022

I also was confused between 12th and 5th so sharing my research with you

SRI MUTHUSWAMY DIKSHITAR says in his
Sri Varalakshmi Namastubhyam
Sravana pournami purvardha sukravaare
it means
Sravana masam is the name of the month, and this vratam is conducted on the friday that comes prior to the full moon day of this month
ஆடி மாதத்தில் வரும் கடைசி வெள்ளிக்கிழமை வரலட்சுமி பெரும்பாலும் கொண்டாடப்படும். ஆனால் 2022ல் கடைசி ஆடி வெள்ளி அன்று பௌர்ணமி திதி வந்துவிடுவதால், அதற்கு முந்தைய வெள்ளிக்கிழமையான ஆகஸ்ட் 5ம் தேதி (ஆடி 20) அன்று கடைப்பிடிக்கப்படுகிறது.
