Recently 23rd March'2026 My mother was passed away. We are three sons and a sister to my mother. My eldest brother admitted in Hospital for some surgery. So i finish the funeral rituals all as i am the lost son. We don't have father.
I am little consufed on the forthcoming rituals like 21st day,27th day and 45the day rituals. Sastrigal strictly said eldest son first start Kuli tarpanam then only mslf should start the rituals. If not, the rituals will considered as incomplete and my moter's soul will not be in calm.
Anyone can suggest me the actual process to proceed, 3 sasthrigal consulted. But i have 3 different versions of answers. and at the same time i want to know my mother's Oonamasikam, and sodhakumbam dates to proceed. Currenlty I am living at Hyderabad my mother passed away in chennai. MY eldest brother at Trichy.
