Budget flats in South Chennai

I am looking for a budget flat, for myself and my wife, in Chennai, in any locality/suburb where there is greenery.
It is long I left chennai,and I am not familiar with the latest trends.There should not be a water problem and there must be pavement for daily walking. Please pass on your recommendations and any identifiers. Hospitals,grocery stores, basic amenities , etc must be within reach by walk.
