Ingredients




1/2 cup of white urad dal, washed and soaked overnight in 2 cups of water



1 small piece ginger

Salt


1/2 tsp cumin seeds



1 tbsp coriander leaves



2 green chillies



2 tsp oil



Method



Drain the dal and put it in a blender, add a few teaspoons of water and ginger. Blend it into a smooth batter.

Put it in a bowl and ferment it for few hours.


Pre heat the oven at 200 degrees Celsius.



Add salt, cumin seeds, green chillies and coriander leaves. the batter should be light and frothy.



Take a muffin tray and line it with paper muffin cases



Spray each with oil and fill it with the batter.



Bake it till light brown on top.



Serve with coconut chutney.
