We are planning our daughters aayushhomam in November 2021 as per her birth star and birth month. My father-in-laws mother and his brother passed away and one year will be completed in April 2022.
can we not do the mottai in kuladeiva kovil ? If not, can the mottai be done after the completion of one year? Kindly confirm.

More details needed to give precise answer. Father-in laws mother and brother means Husband's பாட்டி and சித்தப்பா வா?

Also details of kartha that is who has done the rituals also needed.

Generally தாயாதி means one should not do anything in குலதெய்வ கோயில் for a year.

Yes, husbands paati and chithappa. Last rights for paati were carried out by my father in law. Chithappa’s rights were carried out by chithappa’s son along with my father in law.
